| CHILD MODELLING |
 |
| Welcome to a Modelsat.net child Model casting.
The following answers a few regularly asked questions.
If you have questions which are not covered here,
please use the back of this sheet to note your
questions down whilst you wait.
We class a child Model as a child between the
ages of 6 months and 16 years.
It is important to remember that as a child model,
your child may need to take time off from school
to work. We recommend that if your child has enough
potential to be accepted by us, you discuss this
with the headteacher of your child’s school
and arrange for homework to be given to ensure
that your child’s studies do not fall behind.
There are several different sections within the
Agency.
The childrens section is completely separate
from any other types of Modelling
We expect a child Model to be accompanied by
a parent or adult guardian whenever they go to
a casting or a job.
We are work finders, not child minders. A responsible
adult must accompany any child we send anywhere
and the cost of a parent taking time off work
to do this must be thought about before agreeing
to allow a child to follow a Modelling career.
Test shots are needed because the majority, if
not all, of the Models work will be in front of
a camera of some description. If we as agents
cannot see recent up to date professionally taken
photographs which show how the child reacts to
the camera and to an unknown person photographing
them, we cannot be sure if the child will make
a suitable model or not.
Looks alone don't make a successful Model.
If you have brought your own suitable photographs,
there is no charge to see us.
We charge £17.50 if we take 6 - 10 test
shots of your child today. This charge is not
for our time which we willingly give to find new
models for our successful Agency. It barely covers
the cost of running the studio, purchasing and
developing the film and is the charge we make
to take the photographs for you. The copyright
is owned by you. If, for whatever reason your
child does not go onto the Agencies books, the
photographs will be returned to you.
If you have not brought photographs and do not
want any taken we cannot advise you today.
If your child is found to have the potential
we require, you will need to arrange a photoshoot
to have varied photographs taken (‘portfolio
shoot’) and you will also need to arrange
for the best of these photographs to be made into
‘Composite Cards’ to enable us to
promote and advertise the Model and without which
we cannot get work for the Model.
The photographs and cards do not have to be arranged
through this Company. You are free to make your
own arrangements. We do however, subsidise portfolio
shoots and composite cards arranged through the
Company and therefore you should find it cheaper
to arrange things through ourselves.
If we accept your child, you must agree to abide
by our Terms and Conditions a copy of which are
on display, and if your child is of school age
obtain a licence for them to work from your Local
Education Authority. |

on changes to the working practices within
the Company during these weekly calls and the Company

any such assignment, to inform the Company of the
full details thereof and that within ten days of
the completion of such assignment to pay to the
